Prosper

Welcome to Prosper Class

Our topic this half term is:

Do we all have

super powers?

For the first half of the Autumn term we will be learning about fictional superheroes and real life heroes who help us.  We will be focussing on cartoon characters with super powers, reading stories about super heroes and writing our own super hero stories. We will also be looking at everyday heroes, such as police, ambulance crew, fire fighters and their hero qualities.

Prosper Class is our year 2 class taught by Miss Bevis and Mrs Cooper. Mrs Williams is our HLTA. For Autumn term we will be welcoming Miss Sevinc, a SCITT trainee.

It is expected that the children will read at home at least 5 times per week. Reading records will be checked on a Monday morning. Please click on the links at the bottom of the page for helpful parental information regarding your child's learning.

This half-term, we will be continuing our 'Daily Mile'. The main aim of this is to help children enjoy physical activity and become fit for life. In order to take part, please make sure your child has a pair of trainers in school every day to change into.
