Prosper

Welcome to Prosper Class

Prosper Class is our year 2 class taught by Miss Morton and Miss Bevis. Miss Grubb and Mrs Wade are on hand as the class teaching assistants.

It is expected that the children will read at home at least 3 times per week. Reading records will be checked on a Monday morning.

Please click on the links at the bottom of the page for helpful parental information regarding your child's learning.

Daily Mile
As part of our Superhero training, we will be taking part in the 'Daily Mile'. The main aim of this is to help children enjoy physical activity and become fit for life. In order to take part, please make sure your child has a pair of trainers in school every day to change into.
IMPORTANT DATES

Wednesday 26th September - Superhero dress up day! Year 2 children are invited to come to school wearing a superhero costume.

Wednesday 17th October 2.45pm Prosper Classroom - Parents/Carers are invited to watch our short film about our own real-life superpowers.
Our topic this half term is:

 'Do we all have superpowers?'

In this unit, we will consider what makes a person truely super and whether ordinary people can have super powers too.

We will be learning about everyday jobs that help people and the qualities you need to be a super person. If you have a real-life superhero job that helps people, and would be willing to talk to our class about it, please contact Miss Morton or Miss Bevis to arrange an appropriate time to visit our class.
