Around the World

(in 54 days)

Throughout the weeks of our Spring term, Melbur class will take a learning journey to a variety of places around the world. We will be learning about the cultures and celebrations of lands beyond our own. With our Autumn term knowledge of Cornish heritage, we will be able to consider how our lives differ and link to people around the world.

In English, we will read a biography of the Queen of England & compare our monarchy's life to the life of key figures in other countries.
Our class story: Charlotte's Web by E B White
Our English unit will finish with the children creating biographies for Martin Luther King.
Melbur is our Year 4 class taught by Mrs Jago on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Mrs Varney is provides Teaching Assistant support. Ms Trula joins us on a Monday afternoon to teach Spanish. Mr Bacon leads the in school P.E lessons.
