Dear Children and Parents,

We have finally arrived at the end of the Summer term and therefore the end of another school year. However, quite honestly, it feels very strange this year, for obvious reasons related to Covid-19.
I would like to wish you all a lovely summer, and pass on my best wishes to children, their families and our local community.
The Autumn Term of the 2020-21 school year begins for children on Monday 7th September 2020, so myself and school staff look forward to seeing you all then. We are extremely excited to welcome you all back to school, and please ensure you have read the recent letters and our plans in relation to Government guidance.
Finally, a special message to our Year 6 (Rosemellyn Class) children. It has been a pleasure to work with you and I have many happy memories of you all, from visiting you in your classroom to see you working, to supporting you with extra-curricular opportunities. You are all lovely children with a vast array of different talents: I hope you continue to showcase these, as well as continuing to develop in other areas, as you move to secondary school. I look forward to hearing how you are all progressing.
Best wishes everyone, have a lovely summer and stay safe,

Mr M Nicholls (Headteacher)
Dear Children and Parents,
Unfortunately, due to the current situation with Covid-19, we are having to make some further changes to our staffing structure for 2020-21.
These have been made with the safety of staff and children being of paramount importance, while ensuring that we will be able to support the needs of the children in different classes when they return to school in September.
Next week, your new Teacher will introduce themselves to you on Class Dojo!
Eden (Year R): Mrs Hayes and Miss Dash.
Hendra (Year 1): Miss Morrison, Miss Morton and Miss Rosevear (an appointment will be made to cover Miss Morton's Maternity Leave).
Prosper (Year 2): Mrs Cooper, Miss Bevis (when she returns from Maternity Leave), Mrs Williams, Mr Bacon.
Karslake (Year 3): Mr Parker, Miss Brotherhood (when she returns from Maternity Leave) and Mrs Grindrod.
Melbur (Year 4): Mr Barritt, Mrs Kitts, Mrs Cocks and Mrs Wade.
Drinnick (Year 5): Mrs Jago, Mrs Varney, Mrs Cocks and Mrs Wade.
Rosemellyn (Year 6): Mr Tonkin and Mrs Miskowicz.
Once again, my apologies for the late change, but the current situation has meant this is a necessity.
Best wishes to you all, myself and the staff can't wait to see you in your new classes in September!
Take care,
Mr M Nicholls (Headteacher)

All the staff at Nanpean are thinking about the children and also the families we are used to seeing almost every week. Life may be different at the moment, but we look forward to seeing you all in person when we're told the time is right. We hope that you are safe and well. Here's a message from us...
