We have finally arrived at the end of the Summer term and therefore the end of another school year. However, quite honestly, it feels very strange this year, for obvious reasons related to Covid-19.
I would like to wish you all a lovely summer, and pass on my best wishes to children, their families and our local community.
The Autumn Term of the 2020-21 school year begins for children on Monday 7th September 2020, so myself and school staff look forward to seeing you all then. We are extremely excited to welcome you all back to school, and please ensure you have read the recent letters and our plans in relation to Government guidance.
Finally, a special message to our Year 6 (Rosemellyn Class) children. It has been a pleasure to work with you and I have many happy memories of you all, from visiting you in your classroom to see you working, to supporting you with extra-curricular opportunities. You are all lovely children with a vast array of different talents: I hope you continue to showcase these, as well as continuing to develop in other areas, as you move to secondary school. I look forward to hearing how you are all progressing.
Best wishes everyone, have a lovely summer and stay safe,
Mr M Nicholls (Headteacher)

At Nanpean Primary we will provide every child with a safe and healthy environment in which to learn and develop the skills they need to be positive members of the community. We believe that the primary years are such an important time, laying the foundations for so much that follows. We therefore do our best to make the children's time with us as enjoyable and productive as it can be.The hard work of the children, staff and governors gives us confidence that we are moving the school in the right direction according to the wants and needs of its children and parents. Feedback from parents have indicated that the inspiring teaching of interesting topics in school has created happy, enthusiastic children.
