General Data Protection Regulations

The General Data Protection Regulations (known as GDPR) replaces the Data Protection Act 1998 and require any company or person who collects, holds and shares personal data, to audit their information and ensure that the information collected and held is done so for a specific purpose, and that we have effective procedures in place to protect that data, including that companies we are required to share information with are also compliant with the new regulations.

Our school privacy notice will inform you of what information we collect as a matter of course, why it is required and whether we are required to share it with other entities. A copy of this notice is also available here:

We have also updated our images/ video consent policy in line with the new regulations. For this, you are not required to give consent by any law, this is voluntary, but allows us to share our pupil’s activities and achievements with our community. If you need a new copy to amend or withdraw consent for use of images and videos, please click on the file below:

We are in the process of appointing a Data Protection Officer and will inform you of their contact details as soon as they are appointed.
