The Western Wall

13th February 2020
In RE, Melbur class wrote letters to God and buried them in Nanpean's version of 'The Western Wall'. The Western Wall is symbolic for Jews as it is their special place, in Israel, to show their love for God. To be able to visit the wall, is a life -long dream for Jewish people. Melbur class, wrote letters to God to say thank you for the things they have in their life, for the love they wish to show to their family and pets and to remember loved ones who are no longer with them. As the children buried their letters in the wall, they were silent, this was for a moment of reflection.
