Hit the Surf Trip

28th September 2016

On Wednesday 28th September, Drinnick and Rosemellyn class visited Fistral Beach to take part in ‘Hit the Surf’ workshops with the RNLI. The focus of the day was respecting the sea and   learning how to keep themselves safe while still enjoying the benefits of living so close to the ocean. The children played a number of sand games, had a go at body boarding and paddling in shallow water, and worked with the RNLI on developing their techniques for keeping themselves safe. Everyone had a great day and the children all behaved themselves wonderfully. Thank you to the RNLI for hosting this event.
