Christingle Service

17th December 2019
Christingle Service
This afternoon we enjoyed our annual Christingle service led by Revd Emma Childs. The celebration is named after the Christingles that are lit during the celebration. Christingles are made from:
1. An orange representing the world.
2. A red ribbon representing the blood of Jesus.
3. Fruits and sweets, skewered on four cocktail sticks which represent God's gifts - the fruits of the earth and the four seasons.
4. A lighted candle representing Christ, the light of the world.
